Clinics & Services

Find out more about our supportive clinics here.

Immunisation

Weekly clinics are held by the health visitors to administer immunisations to all children. During development assessments, the doctor performs the assessment with the presence of the health visitor.

Health visitors are available to provide advice on healthcare matters, particularly for expectant mothers, infants and young children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.

The health visitors have an office located within the surgery and can be contacted on weekdays at 01554 751816.

Maternity

We provide comprehensive maternity care that encompasses both antenatal and postnatal care. Our midwives are available to provide assistance and guidance throughout pregnancy, and will also care for the mother and baby in their home during the postnatal period.

Minor Surgery

On a weekly basis, we hold a clinic for administering injections, performing aspirations, incisions, cryosurgery cautery, and for removing other types of lesions.

Family Planning

Our practice provides comprehensive contraceptive services to our patients, including coil fittings. Please speak to the receptionist to arrange a special appointment, as it may be required.

Cervical Smears

Regular smear tests are highly recommended for all women, and our doctor or practice nurse can perform this important examination. We advise women to have a smear test every three years, and our computer recall system will send appointments to those who are due for their test.

Chronic Disease Management

We hold clinics to provide guidance on managing conditions such as asthma, heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension. Patients are invited to attend these clinics to receive assessments, develop treatment plans, receive support, and learn more about their condition.

Influenza Vaccination

Every autumn, we implement an influenza vaccination program to make sure that all patients who are deemed ‘at risk’ receive the appropriate immunisations.
