Prescriptions

Our aim is to make the process surrounding prescriptions as simple as possible for our patients.

Repeat prescriptions

If you are on long term medication you may obtain a repeat prescription by written request or by using the repeat prescription forms issued by the practice.

If you call or visit us to process your requests it is vital the following information is provided:

  • Your name, address AND date of birth
  • The medicines you require,(Dose & amount)

If we do not have enough information to identify who the request is for we will be unable to process the script. Otherwise your prescription will be ready for collection in 48 hours. Please allow time for Bank holidays.

  • If you have obtained a computerised prescription from your Doctor, then tear off the portion that lists your medication. Select those that you require by marking with a tick.
  • Alternatively write down exactly what you need including your name and address and leave in the prescription box situated in the foyer.
  • Requests can be posted through our letterbox outside surgery hours.
  • Please allow 48 hours for processing and checking by the Doctor. This means two working days excluding weekends and bank holidays.
